[Ex Machina]

Generic run-on-the-mill RPGMaker game. I knew what to expect after seeing the game's thumbnail. (It's the default icon for a game made in RPGMaker MV FYI)

It's not even trying to be a funny shitpost, interesting in the slightest nor even fun. It's bad.

To topple it all off, it's not even in English which should be a given since it was posted on Newgrounds of all places, a primarily English-speaking site. Honestly not a dealbreaker especially if the game was even good in the first place, but it really isn't.

The screen gets crowded and the camera movements from moving the cursor around gives me camera sickness.

Other than that I've got no complaints, reminds me of Isaac.

Couldn't have made this harder even if I tried. Got stuck in level 4 and now level 9, I don't have enough space to maneuver the stupid enemy spawns and I don't have enough time to spawn all the platforms on half of the screen. I think what's more annoying is the enemy spam especially the damn ghosts that follow you around.

Jeez, I don't even want to think how much worse it's going to get by world 3.

[Volcano Maintenance]

Removing half a star for automatically charging the fruits on the catapult, removing another half star for making the throw unreliable and for automatically picking up enemies although this does literally nothing useful even if you toss them at other enemies.

Annoying gameplay loop aside, the game is fun.

Can the Pico play DOOM? Yeah seems like it.

Solid 10/10 here. Too bad only Tails is playable.

Strangely addicting, plays like a charm and despite being simple the graphics are stylised and effective, you immediately recognise whether you're in midair and what's dangerous to touch (Anything coloured white is a hazard FYI).

Very fun game overall.
