[Newgrounds Rushdown Rivals]

I'm going to have to give this game an average rating because I literally can't play it and have a good idea of how it plays like. Each time I boot this thing up it freezes the whole browser. How the hell is this optimised?

Why does a 2D game like this have to eat up all my RAM? My task manager says it's fucking using almost 2 GB. By comparison the other most resource intensive thing on my laptop is Brave and my browser only uses 100 MB with each tab using between 100 MB and 1 MB.

My gaming PC could've prolly handled it just fine, but it died last year. Hell it's a 2D game it shouldn't be as heavy on the system as a 3D game esp when my laptop can run alot of 3D games just fine.

Anyways I'll change the rating when and if I can actually play the game someday.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea this was taking that much on the ram on the web version. Try playing the downloadable version of the game. I'll try to see if I can fix this problem asap.

This is basically a mobile game. Infact it gets pretty boring for a while because it's literally the same fight 4 times. Though it has no ads and you need to do some thinking to win. It's not braindead is what I mean atleast.

[ThreeStar's Cave Catastrophe]

You did the Zelda transition better than I could in my own Zeldalike, so it's got some really good programming. The game's in general not too shabby either.

EDIT: I'm going to upload it here eventually, but for now it's on my itch.io page, linked on my profile. I want to make sure the game is fully finalised and polished just to make sure it gets attention and potentially even an award.

Addicting and very thrilling. Also very first try I already got a solid score over 2000, I played Sonic so much as a kid that my reaction time is crazy good.

The only problem I could say this game has is that sometimes I'll end up in impossible situations that will end my run prematurely like 3 cops closely together or most of the obstacles all at once.

I clicked on wake to start and then the game wouldn't let me progress past that point because the options are hidden below the frame. Very gud 10 outta 10.
