Damn this looks hand drawn. You serious when you say it was animated in Blender?

The animation was hand drawn using blender's grease pencil tool and a cintiq. The backgrounds were hand-painted with gouache on watercolor paper and then photographed and composited with the animation in premiere.

Looks it was animated like American Dad with the stiffness and all that which makes it even more charming than most animations on here.

Super surreal, love it! This probably would do better ratings-wise in the art portal.

Personally tho, I don't like that white-to-purple swirl, it doesn't do much and yet it's very distracting because it's huge.
